 Under the theme “Run Without Borders”, EWB-Lebanon was present to run the Beirut Marathon in an aim to gather young and motivated engineers and individuals from different backgrounds, ages, ethnic groups, and affiliations.
This highly diversified group of 20 runners ran together for a good cause with a message of peace, sustainability, and respect on November 27, 2011 to run the 10km marathon (run for fun).
The money raised is going to a development project to be implemented by EWB-Lebanon engineers in one of the poorest regions of Lebanon.
